This adorable donkey with a cart was originally a cookie jar. Without the lid, this is the perfect planter pot. Research shows this was manufactured in the 1950s. The colors are a pale yellow and blue, with dark accenting on the donkey and wheels. The words "cookies and milk" are embossed on one side. This is a heavy (about 5 pounds) sturdy ceramic piece that is suitable for the patio, porch, or indoors. You can also use this as a utensil holder.

Condition: preowned in very good condition with no breaks. See picture #9 for red markings and scuffs on the bottom. The entire surface has crazing that is typical of vintage glazed ceramic pieces.
