Amazing embroidered gown from 1950s - 1960s era. Material is very beautiful soft lilac color with subtle greyish-blue embroidery. The material feels like silk satin. This dress fastens at the back with a long metal zip (in working order) and has little popper fasteners under the shoulders which can go round your bra strap to keep it hidden and in place. Measurements are taken with the garment laying flat (and doubled for the bust, waist and hip) Bust 102 cm Waist 72 cm Hip 114 cm Length bodice 39 cm Length strap to hem 90 cm This evening dress / cocktail dress is in good vintage condition. At some light the under arm areas seems a little darker.
