Humble, Ben. THE CUILLIN OF SKYE. Robert Hale. 1952. First edition. In original grey cloth with silver spine lettering. Some fading to cloth but text is still clearly visible. 144pp with photo illustrations and endpaper maps. Text block tight and square. Previous owner inscription on half title page. Some light spotting to page ends, otherwise very good content / cloth. Complete with unclipped dustwrapper, which has chips and creases and minor loss to extremities, especially at lower front corner and top of spine. The red spine background colour has also faded but text remains visible. The principal book on the history of climbing in Skye. Humble was active as a climber and through his involvement in mountain rescue.
