Petit Bateau has recycled clothing collected through its "Petit Baton" buy-back and recycling program into original sketchbooks.
Petit Bateau valued the "freedom of expression" of children. They wanted to protect each and every experience – drawing by hand, touching paper, layering colors – and chose sketchbooks as the form of recycling.
This initiative began in September 2021, and over two years, approximately 390 kg of clothing collected through the " Baton" program was shredded, mixed with pulp, and recycled into paper. The result is a sketchbook made with recycled paper containing 13% recycled clothing.
