Madame Alexander restrung 10" Portrettes Gibson Girl doll. Original box and tag. Her eyes open and close manually. The heel on one shoe is intact. It is missing from the second shoe.
Almost all 8-12" dolls from the 1960's to the 90's need to be restrung (even ones that have never been displayed) and if a listing doesn't indicate they have been restrung they probably have brittle or loose rubber bands.
