This is a Craft A mechanical pencil lead case.
The wood type is genuine purple sandalwood, and the hardware is brass.

There are no cracks or splits in the wood. Since it has hardly been used, there is some rust-like discoloration on the hardware, but it should return to its original condition if polished.
