Beautiful mid-century blue moonglow lucite white metal bracelet | 18cm

Moonglow Lucite is a term used for heat-set plastic (thermoset) and the resulting effect resembles cat’s-eye or moonstone-like cabochons with a beautiful luminescent quality. Popularised during the 1950’s/60’s - this bracelet came from my paternal grandmother. I’ve polished this bracelet up and it’s come up a treat as you can see - it was tarnished as it’s around 65 years old but the fact it now looks like new is testament to its quality. Proper jewellery, made to last another life time. The metal does pass basic tests for silver but as there’s no hallmark it is listed as white metal. Pretty sure it’s sterling though. The hinged links are sturdy. 18cm long - fold-over locking clasp.
